Pricing Kilimanjaro and Mt. Meru mountain tours (per person)

Unfortunately we can not ignore the problems with the Euro because in Tanzania you need USD.
Thats why we have new prices from 10.05.2010:

Tour description:

Machame

First day: Arrival
Second day: Preparation for the tour
Third to Eighth day: Kilimanjaro (night ascent)
Ninth day: Departure; recommended

Included:
Fee for the National Park, incl. camping and emergency 630$, three nights at the Kilemakyaro Lodge in double bed-hut with half board, transport Kilimanjaro International Airport, transport National Park, provisions, coffee, tee and water at the tour, tents, tent to sit in at the meals, payment of the porters and the guide, incl. TIP.

In case of cancellation the participants is required to pay:

After getting the deposit we offer an security travel insurance to you for the unlikely case that we can not operate the tour.

Money back warranty*
Our crew is very well paid. We were even told, that our tour-company pays its tour staff the highest wages around Kilimanjaro: Porter 14 $, cook 20$, assistant guide 30$ and Guide 35$ per day. Every other tour company is expecting TIP from the climbers. That way, every tourist pays an average of 150 USD as a tip on the whole trip. From the very beginning we broke with this kind of conduct and are not asking for a tip nor things or other support. On the other hand we don't want that the service suffers, because the crew knows that they get their salary in any case.

* That is why we pay achievement-dependently. If you are satisfied with our service, our people will get the achievement-dependent portion of 30% of their total payment, otherwise YOU will get that portion back. Since February 2007 our questionnaire is used – so far all groups were content and the warranty was not required to come into action.
